This study optimizes the integration of the Mobile Automated Biometric Identification System (MABIS) with Virtual Tunnel Interface (VTI) and Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) for secure site-to-site Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). Utilizing a synergistic approach, the study systematically applies the Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, and Optimize (PPDIOO) model, resulting in a robust and seamlessly integrated system. The proposed network architecture employs Site-to-Site VPNs with VTI over IPsec, utilizing AES for confidentiality, SHA for integrity, and DH14 for key exchange. Security assessments through Mozilla HTTP Observatory, TLS Observatory, CryptCheck, and ImmuniWeb reveal exemplary scores, confirming MABIS's commitment to security, compliance, and interoperability. This study contributes valuable insights to enhance secure networking, particularly in law enforcement applications.
