摘要
3D calculation and analysis for ion flow field is necessary to the residential houses adjacent to HVDC transmission lines. Traditionally, the corner of house is treated as sharp angle, leading to the singularity problem at the corner and affecting the calculation results near the corner. In this paper, a rounded corner modeling is applied to simulate the actual house corner. It shows that calculation results at rounded corners do not diverge and are little affected by the mesh size. New modeling method can improve calculation result around corner and has little effect on the results near the roof center.
