The pincer wasps of the genus Dryinus Latreille in northeastern Brazil: a new host record and distribution for two species (Hymenoptera, Dryinidae)

Dryinus Latreille, 1804 is one of the most diverse genera of Dryinidae, comprising more than 340 fossil and recent species. Despite this large diversity, few studies focused on the fauna of this family in the Northeast of Brazil. This study aims to expand the distribution records for Dryinus garcetei Olmi 2012 and Dryinus gibbosus (Olmi, 1984), for the states of Bahia and Pernambuco, and additionally, to record for by the first time the host, Bladina sp. (Hemiptera, Nogodinidae), for the genus Dryinus. Furthermore, we provide a revised diagnosis for the species, detailed illustrations, and distribution map to the studied species.
