摘要
Between 1781 and 1782, the Spanish -Guatemalan Jesuit, Rafael de Land & iacute;var, took to the printing presses of Modena and Bologna in Italy his poetic work entitled Rusticatio Mexicana. Land & iacute;var, who participated in the expulsion of the Society of Jesus from the territories under Spanish rule in 1767, left his ethnographic knowledge and detailed description of some of the productive activities that the Ignatian Jesuits conducted in the territory of New Spain.
