Latin American Women Writers in the Global North. An Approach to Emerging Literature in Spanish

The purpose of this article is to study the emerging Latin American literature written by women migrants in the Global North, specifically in the United States and the Schengen area. The article proposes a corpus in which the authors' migrant identities and the processes of subjectivation are analyzed; as well as the conditions of production and circulation of the works. The examination of the narratives makes visible how political, economic and sexual codes are articulated in the works and, in turn, how gender and resistance are combined in the voices of displacement
