摘要
Aim. The Fear of Cancer Recurrence Inventory (FCRI) assesses fear of recurrence multidimensionally and proposes a clinical cut-off point. However, to date there is still no Spanish-translated version of the FCRI. This study aims to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the FCRI in women who completed primary treatment for breast cancer. Material and methods. The recommendations of the International Test Commission for cultural adaptation were followed. 267 who completed primary treatment for breast cancer participated and responded to the Spanish version of the FCRI and the Support Needs Scale. Results. Two models were explored using CFA, the second-order model chi(2) (807, n = 265) = 1500.3, p < .001, chi(2) /df = 1.85, CFI = .89, TLI = .89, RMSEA = .057 (90% confidence interval = 0.052-0.061), and the seven-related factor model chi(2) (791, n = 265) = 1391.7, p < .001, chi(2) /df = 1.75, CFI = .91, TLI = .90, RMSEA = .053 (90% confidence interval = .049-.058) obtained an adequate fit. The Cronbach's alpha values obtained were adequate to good and the interclass correlation index was acceptable for five of the seven dimensions (.68 to .83). Conclusion. The Spanish version of the FCRI has adequate psychometric properties for clinical and research use in Mexican populations.
