摘要
This article aimed to analyze emotional intelligence as a human resource management strategy, taking Goleman's (2018) approaches as a reference. A documentary methodology was used, with a bibliographic design. Secondary sources were used, specifically books related to emotional intelligence and human resource management strategy. The information was analyzed with documentary techniques. The results indicated that self -regulation is essential to experience emotions proportionate to demanding corporate situations, including emotional awareness, self-control, reliability, and innovation for adaptability. Regarding empathy as a human resource management strategy, it is important to take actions to increase emotional intelligence around the understanding of others, as well as help others develop in order to achieve staff integration and achieve orientation towards quality service. It was concluded that the development of emotional intelligence can contribute to achieving the organizational objectives of effectively relating workers and configuring their actions based on growth goals, it being advisable to develop emotional intelligence focused on achieving highly competent personnel in tasks, as well as promoting productive interactions with each of the members of the organization.
