摘要
This paper proposes a method to analyze the performance of nonlinear high-speed links based on the least square method. In this method, two matrices constructed from the input bits and output waveforms are used as inputs to the least square method. By fitting these matrices, a matrix that represents the nonlinear characteristics of the link is obtained, and this matrix is then used to calculate the statistical eye diagram. Comparing the proposed method with transient simulation, single-edge response method and double-edge response method demonstrates that the proposed method possesses not only the efficiency of the single-edge response method but also the accuracy of the double-edge response method.
