摘要
The purpose of this article was to study digital creative industries as an opportunity to generate economic and social wealth. Some criteria are set out in relation to the new business models that arise from the creative economy, and some paths for their development are proposed. It is a qualitative documentary-type research, using documentary observation as a technique to collect data related to the research through an exhaustive search on the Internet; therefore, its population was comprised of electronic texts. As a result, it was found that both technology and creativity in business have been a key factor for commercial, political and social growth, creating what is today recognized as digital creative industries (DIC), taking into account that They seek to generate wealth within the economic and social spheres, this is because greater value is given to human intellect, innovation and creativity, providing a much broader perspective on the economy, because for all of this to be feasible, the implementation of the creative economy driven by the development of policies that encourage and promote creativity is essential.
