摘要
In an effort to study the dynainic response of pile group in liquefiable ground under earthquake loading, centrifuge shake table test and 3D finite element simulation on a 4x4 pile group are conducted in this study. The experimental results are displayed and discussed. The dynamic distribution of bending moment on piles within pile group is analysed, showing the internal piles to experience greater bending moment compared with external piles. Good agreement between the 3D finite element simulation results aid the experimental data highlights the potential for further analyses of the seismic response of pile groups in liquefiable ground using the proposed simulation method.
