摘要
Accessing real-time data from the Automated Construction System (ACS) through diverse field sensors holds paramount importance in effective safety management. However, the challenge lies in overcoming inefficient data exchange and information integration. This study seeks to extend the Industry Foundation Class (IFC) standard to seamlessly integrate real-time safety information with the digital model. Our approach involves identifying the essential information required to describe ACS components and safety monitoring items, which is followed by an extension of the IFC schema to create comprehensive descriptions of safety-related data. Additionally, we devise an innovative parameter mapping technique to incorporate dynamic sensory data into corresponding ACS components within the BIM model. We present a case study of a construction project equipped with the ACS, which underscores the feasibility of our approach. Our findings hold substantial practical benefits and establish a robust foundation for future data-driven endeavors within the realm of ACS.
