Resource recycling of the industrial solid waste in induction asphalt mixture

摘要
To solve the technical bottleneck of induction asphalt mixture and alleviate the harm of industrial solid waste, the asphalt mixtures with four different contents of waste steel shavings (WSS) were prepared, and four different particle sizes of waste ferrites (WF) were selected to form the magnetic concentrator layer (MCL) respectively. The induction heating experiments were conducted to analyze the effect of WSS and WF on IHP of induction asphalt mixture. Results showed that the IHP increases with the increase of WSS content. The more interesting finding was that the IHP were better as the particle size of the MCL decreases. It can be indicated that the IHP were directly proportional to the dense degree of the MCL. The experimental results provide new ideas for recycling and utilization of WSS and WF in the field of civil engineering.
