摘要
This work aims to investigate the curricular trends for EE in Higher Education, based on analyzes of published studies in the Electronic Magazine of the Master's in Environmental Education-REMEA. The analytical movements were guided by the theoretical -methodological framework of Content Analysis. We identified that the obstacles to the EE development refer, above all, to the curricula rigidity, the EE incipience and superficiality in the documents and the disconnection from the socio -environmental realities in which the institutions are inserted. Regarding curricular models, the debates emphasize transversality with greater emphasis, due to the broad, polysemic and hybrid characteristics that circumscribe EE, making it incompatible with the knowledge imprisonment in a disciplinary structure. Therefore, future perspectives converge to the transversal EE adoption offering greater possibilities for the field development in a collaborative and interdisciplinary way, as it calls on educators to fulfill their social and environmental responsibilities, based on the different knowledge they develop with the students.
