摘要
To address the problem of easy condensation in radiant air conditioning, this paper proposes a radiant cooling terminal with an infrared-transparent membrane. In this design, a single -layer infrared-transparent membrane is placed directly below the cooling panel to create an air sandwich with a specific thickness between them. Experiments are conducted on the effects of air-sandwich thickness, water-supply temperature, and relative humidity on the anti-condensation characteristics of the radiant cooling terminal. The findings indicate that the optimal thickness for the air sandwich is 20 mm. At this thickness, the water-supply temperature can be lowered to 7.14 degrees C. Under the experimental conditions, the radiant cooling terminal can be operated without condensation as long as the relative humidity in the room is not more than 65 %.
