摘要
The purpose of this article is to analyse the barriers faced by immigrant Mexican entrepreneurs in the USA and their relationships with human capital, management capacity and performance. A structural equation model (SEM) was developed using the partial least squares (PLS) regression method with a sample of 166 Mexican immigrant entrepreneurs whose companies are operated in the city of Tucson, Arizona in the USA. The results of this research highlight the importance of human capital and management capacity as factors that help immigrant entrepreneurs improve the performance of their businesses and that help reduce barriers or obstacles that immigrants face when they develop their businesses. These results have important implications both for the public administration of the design of entrepreneurship policies for immigrant groups and for the immigrants themselves in favouring the survival of their businesses.
