摘要
In this work, a novel surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor with high sensitivity using franckeite and transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) based on Ag metallic layer for Pseudomonas bacterial detection is investigated. The performance parameters like sensitivity, detection accuracy and quality factor are studied. According to the calculations, the addition of the franckeite and TMDCs layer with the three affinity layers, toluene, poly (trifluoroethyl methacrylate) and nicotine demonstrates the enhancement in the performance of the proposed structure for Pseudomonas and Pseudomonas-like bacteria detection. The multilayer models of Ag, franckeite, 2D materials (MoS2/MoSe2/WS2/WSe2) and affinity exhibit maximum sensitivity of 212.42 deg/RIU in the refractive index range of 1.33-1.40 for the affinity layer RI of 1.49368. Thus, the results justify the inclusion of the franckeite along with the WS2 monolayer to enhance the sensitivity and better performance for bacteria detection so can find potential applications in biological detection and medical diagnosis.
