摘要
Power factor correction (PFC) technology has been widely used to reduce the harmonic pollution of power electronic equipment. The single-stage PFC converter composed of a current source charge pump (CS-CP) has a simple structure and high power factor (PF), but the operating range is narrow. Based on the single-stage CS-CP PFC converter, a capacitance-multiplexed CS-CP PFC converter is proposed in this article, reducing a diode and improving the efficiency. An LLC half-bridge resonant circuit is used as a current source to provide high-frequency current into the charge pump to achieve PFC. By reusing the resonant capacitors as the charge pump capacitor, the simple structure of the CS-CP PFC converter is preserved, and the problem that the converter can only obtain high PF in a narrow input voltage range is solved. So that the proposed converter can achieve high PF in a wide input range of 100-242 VAC. Finally, the theoretical analysis is verified by the simulation and experiment.
