Investigation on spectroscopic properties of Dy3+, Sm3+co-doped K4Ca (PO4)2 phosphor

摘要
Highly luminescent K 4 Ca(PO 4 ) 2 : RE 3+ (RE = Dy 3+ , Sm 3+ ) materials were synthesized by Co-precipitation method. structural and morphological analysis depicts phase purity and nano structured particles. The study investigated the energy transfer mechanism among dopant ions and examined the impact of concentration on luminescence. Photoluminescence (PL) spectrum analysis revealed that upon near-ultraviolet excitation, K 4 Ca (PO 4 ) 2 : Dy 3+ , Sm 3+ emission assigned to transitions of different Characteristic peaks observed in region spanning 480 to 650 nm. Furthermore, photometric properties were investigated suggesting synthesized phosphor have application in preparation of white LEDs.
