摘要
This article analyzes the use and perception of ChatGPT, a language model by OpenAI. The article highlights that artificial intelligence is based on a "Generative Pre-Trained Transformer" architecture, which utilizes neuronal networks to learn patterns in textual data. The authors stated that technology can have an impact on education because humans cannot distinguish between essays written by humans and those generated by ChatGPT. However, the negative impact on student negative impact on student performance, with respect to the responsible use of the tool. Regarding the methodology, a survey was conducted with 1100 students from Mexico to analyze their perception and use of ChatGPT. In conclusion, this article highlights the potential of ChatGPT in the educational field, emphasizing the importance of training students in the responsible use of the tool. Furthermore, it emphasizes fostering critical and ethical thinking to make decisions when leveraging generative AI models. The article presents the survey's findings and concludes with a discussion of their implications for education.
