摘要
Two isostructural lanthanide (Ln) compounds [Ln 2 L 4 (CH 3 COO) 2 (CH 3 OH) 2 ] (Ln = Gd ( 1) , Eu ( 2 ), L - =dibenzoylmethane) have been successfully synthesized and structurally characterized. The two compounds displayed a quadrilateral dinuclear core connected by two ketonic oxygens and each Ln ion was eightcoordinated with two bidentate L ligands, two acetoxy and one methoxy. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements revealed that a weak antiferromagnetic interaction was existed in compound 1 between Gd(III) ions and the maximum - Delta S m was 20.65 J kg - 1 K -1 for Delta H = 7 T at 2.0 K; while compound 2 only displayed luminescence properties.
