Viele psychische Erkrankungen sind heute in ihrer neuronalen Pathophysiologie noch nicht hinreichend verstanden. Neurowissenschaftliche Fortschritte k & ouml;nnten dabei nicht nur m & ouml;gliche Ursachen erkl & auml;ren, sondern auch Therapieoptionen zu spezifischen Neurotransmittern und Netzwerken aufzeigen. Eine wichtige Frage hierbei ist: Welche Rolle spielen dabei neuronale Wachstumsfaktoren im Zusammenhang mit psychischen Erkrankungen?
