摘要
Transformational leadership is a style through which leaders can positively influence adverse sociocultural contexts, where various risks for students often arise. It is so, this research aims to demonstrate the actions that school management took through transformative leadership to prevent school dropout and improve the academic performance of an at -risk student. The qualitative nature of the work, using the life history approach, aligns with the intended perspective of the investigation. It is concluded that school management under transformational pedagogical leadership is decisive because it can significantly modify the inevitable path towards the partial or definitive studies abandonment.
