摘要
Among the barriers to the successful implementation of lean manufacturing, the literature highlights human resource management. This study had two objectives: to analyze the influence of perceived organizational support on lean manufacturing practices and to establish whether gender is a factor associated with differences in the model. The research is quantitative, non-probabilistic, and cross-sectional, and the analysis techniques are structural equation modeling and multi-group analysis. It was identified that perceived organizational support was a trigger for commitment and participation. Together, these variables influence the use of lean manufacturing practices. Likewise, there are no differences in the model associated with gender. It is concluded that human resources determine the success of lean manufacturing.
