摘要
The year is 20xx? and over 75% of vehicles are self-driving and networked to near ubiquitous smart city public and private infrastructure. The consequences of this deployment will impact massive changes in the status quo. Consider for a moment just the benefits of restoring mobility to those formally housebound. Beyond enabling these expected massive social and economic changes, this new infrastructure will create as yet unimagined opportunities for consumer technology, devices, and services. I lack the ability of all the creative minds that will soon drive these developments to fully reveal the full scope of what the future will reveal, but perhaps I can prime the pump with some of my following thoughts, and I hope you will provide feedback to enrich my vision.
