摘要
The purpose of electronic government is to promote transparency and public participation in government operations and processes. However, in order to be considered successful, e-government must match the needs and satisfaction of the citizen or user. Identifying the level of user satisfaction can help to figure out the system's strengths and weaknesses. The purpose of this study is to determine the primary elements that influence user satisfaction when using the Kuwait e-government portal. It is based on a survey of relevant literature, using the extended technology acceptance model to validate the research model. Although 298 people submitted the surveys, only 277 responses were complete and useful for the analysis. The study results show that users' higher perception of usefulness, ease of use, quality, and trust of e-government services directly impact their readiness to accept e-government services in Kuwait.
