摘要
We propose a Virtual Reality Tennis Serve Practice (VRTSP) system that utilizes 3D skeletal estimation from videos. VRTSP system employs a 3D skeletal estimation model with video shot from a single viewpoint as input to extract the movements of the professional athlete who serve as coaches. The user's movements are captured using motion capture sensors, allowing them to compare their own movements with those of the athlete in the VR space. This approach enables users to freely observe the athlete's movements from multiple angles, which, compared to the traditional practice method of watching videos on a screen, makes learning the tennis serve more enjoyable and expands the range of practice, contributing to creative tennis serve training. Furthermore, VRTSP system is not limited to tennis and has the potential to be applied to other sports as well.
