The use of History to building theoretical-methodological possibilities to the environmental field

摘要
This work aims to analyze how Environmental History emerged, as a result of a search process for new paradigms aimed at overcoming the ecological crisis configured from 1970 onwards. knowledge, whose eyes are launched, respectively, from the fields of educational and historiographical research, its principles and foundations interconnect and complement each other in the space of interdisciplinary studies related to the environment. In this sense, it is understood that Environmental History, in dialogue with Environmental Education, can be used to raise awareness and contribute to the construction of a new political ecological awareness.
