Impact of Interactive Whiteboard Simulation Applications on the Teaching and Learning Process

摘要
The integration of technology into the educational environment has revolutionized the way teachers teach their classes and how students absorb knowledge. In particular, the interactive whiteboard and its simulation applications have emerged as invaluable tools for improving the quality of teaching. This study focused on determining the impact of the OpenBoard software, a simulation of the interactive digital whiteboard (IDW), on the teaching-learning process of Higher Basic Education. 11 teachers participated in a quasi-experimental design of a quantitative nature. The results revealed a significant change in the teachers' performance after receiving the training. The control group averaged 6.2 in the post -test, while the experimental group achieved an average of 9.7, which underlines the positive influence of OpenBoard on the acquisition of teaching skills and abilities.
