摘要
In this paper, the supramolecular assembly of guest 4-Picolinic acid and host cucurbit[8]uril (Q[8]) with structural inducer [Fe(Cl) 6 ] 3- anions was investigated by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The results revealed that a 1:2 complex was formed by Q[8] and 4-picolinic acid, and Q[8] molecules were interconnected to form a molecular chain through their outer surface interaction. [Fe(Cl) 6 ] 3- anions interacted with Q[8] through hydrogen bonds with coordinated water molecules and C-H... Cl interactions. These interactions resulted in the formation of supramolecular assemblies with different pore sizes.
