摘要
Implementing Urban Gardens in Aguascalientes, Mexico, is an initiative that aims to address the scarcity of services relative to the population density. The conceptual framework of this research follows the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through a multidisciplinary approach, this study incorporates pedagogical and technological methodologies to execute educational strategies rooted in culturally relevant practices. It shows the participants' expectations about the teaching and learning process using horizontal communication, involving them in decision-making. Key parameters evaluated include learning outcomes and the engagement of the community, as well as technical parameters such as seed selection, water scarcity, mitigation strategies, crop cycles, and community consumption patterns. Findings reveal that the benefits of the Urban Gardens initiative are positively perceived by the community's socio-economic advantages. This investigation elaborates on strategies for implementing community support for similar projects; the Urban Gardens initiative in Aguascalientes, Mexico, is a model for the world to follow.
