The << whole world >> is experiencing great unrest as it is involved in the domination of Nature supported by significant economic investment from the neoliberal anthropocentric paradigm. The objective of this work is to recognize and embrace alternative epistemologies and methodologies, including validating the contributions of Indigenous peoples (IPs) as protagonists of sustainability and food sovereignty. The documentary research reflects over 20 years of work alongside IPs in Mesoamerica and the Andes. One must focus on their collection and cognitive corpus before it is too late to value these contributions. They are the wise guardians of the biocultural sustainability of Nature and Life. It is mainly concluded that they are the ones who know the keys and secrets that respond to the challenge of leading sustainability and global food security, which humanity so pursues. Society, mainly officials, training, political, corporate, industrial, extension, and academic, must distinguish these social actors that support global food security today. As a severe warning, the main finding is that if the IPs << disappear >>, we will face a colossal global food insecurity phenomenon.
