摘要
The maritime industry is undergoing a transformative shift with the integration of IoT technologies, where real-time data plays a pivotal role. This paper delves into the critical analysis of various maritime positioning techniques, their importance and application possibilities within the framework of Maritime IoT systems. Available technologies, like GNSS, form the backbone of precise location data, while Differential GNSS augments this by providing real-time corrections. On the other hand INS contributes in dynamic positioning. Radar navigation techniques enhance situational awareness. Technologies such as sonar and acoustic positioning ensure comprehensive coverage, addressing diverse maritime challenges. Integrating these techniques within Maritime IoT systems establishes a resilient and redundant framework, enabling seamless connectivity, data sharing, and enhancing overall maritime safety and efficiency.
