摘要：
The first part of the paper briefly presents the basic rationale for researching educational needs in the area of issues, related to the means and ways of assessing the impact of innovations on society, seen in both group and individual dimensions. Next, a plan for preliminary research on educational needs prepared for technical and medical universities in Poland was shown. The first, preliminary stage of the research included surveys of the knowledge and competencies of academic staff at selected universities. Quantitative surveys were conducted. The results of these surveys are discussed in the next part of the paper. The last part includes a summary of the results obtained and a description of further research intentions.
