摘要
The need for highly efficient and accurate detection of cancer is essential nowadays as many fatalities are occurring due to cancer. Early and accurate detection is possible by designing efficient biosensors. We have designed one such biosensor that detects skin cancer and blood cancer efficiently. The biosensor detects blood cancer with the highest sensitivity of 2143 nm/RIU and skin cancer with the highest sensitivity of 1500 nm/RIU. The split ring resonator (SRR) and thin wire (TW) are used as metamaterial elements as resonators. The inner radius and outer radius of the ring are varied and its values are optimized to achieve the highest sensitivity. The length of the substrate and overall structure is also optimized to 50 mu m. Thus, the structure is compact and low-cost. The waveform tuning is possible in this design by using the graphene potential variation. The efficient detection of blood cancer and skin cancer using this designed sensor can be applicable in sensing devices for biomedical applications.
