摘要
Industry 4.0 (I4.0) focuses on improving agility, productivity, quality, and transparency in business operations through a cyber-physical value chain. This research explores the concepts, capabilities, and enablers of I4.0 concerning India's manufacturing sector. In addition, this research also analyzes the enablers, considering their significance in realizing I4.0. The study employs a mixed-method approach, utilizing a literature review and expert insights to explore the usability of I4.0 for the manufacturing sector in a developing nation and identify the factors leading to its successful implementation. Further, using a quantitative approach, these enabling factors are arbitrated to determine their ranking of implementation that provides support and guidelines to the experts for realizing I4.0 capabilities in the manufacturing sector. The uniqueness of this research lies in its ability to explore and analyze the I4.0 enablers beyond the organizational and technical capabilities of the organization, which is the gap present in many of the available research.
