摘要
This research paper aims to pinpoint the readiness of the technological capabilities of Jordanian universities for the efficacy of online learning programs, the most prominent challenges, and the impact of mediating variables such as infrastructure and staff on the readiness of Jordanian universities amid the COVID-19 crisis. Achieving the study objectives requires adopting the descriptive and deductive approaches to analyze the data applied to a stratified random sample of 342 students enrolled in public and private universities. The findings indicate that the readiness of Jordanian universities is effective to meet educational needs in light of the effects of the pandemic. Besides, the results support the readiness of Jordanian universities. Also, the results demonstrate that the impact of infrastructure and personnel is significant and positive on the readiness of Jordanian universities. Given the previous findings, future researchers are recommended to work on increasing the sample size, provided that the study includes more academic disciplines to better understand this issue.
