摘要
In this research work, the issue of sustainability and accessibility in event tourism, more specifically in music events, making some considerations of the different conceptions identified in the current scientific literature, is discussed. An exploratory-descriptive survey study was carried out, focusing on quantitative analysis of the perspectives and experiences of participants in the Coldplay tour in Brazil in March 2023. Data were collected through a questionnaire applied to participants who attended shows in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba. The virtual accessibility of the website and the communication was also analysed, as well as the distinctive features of these shows, in order to achieve sustainability and allow universal accessibility. Amongst the main results, it was possible to identify perceptions and positive impacts left by the band, which showed that it is possible to celebrate, entertain and bring people together sustainably. It was also found that sustainable events are important in raising environmental awareness and education and catalysts for wider societal changes. This becomes a concrete example of how conscious and responsible action can be integrated into different sectors and activities. Integrating sustainability and universal accessibility into everyday activities will build a better world for present and future generations.
