Promoting Sexual Health through Dialogue-Oriented Communication on Social Media - LIEBESLEBEN as an Example of Good Practice

Prevention and health promotion in the field of sexual health benefit from social media communication. This practice-oriented article therefore describes how the Federal Center for Health Education (BZgA) implements its complex intervention LIEBESLEBEN ( www.liebesleben.de ) on social media. Specifically, the work with Instagram is explained based on the prevention of chlamydia and protection against conversion treatments. LIEBESLEBEN aims to promote sexual health, prevent HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, enable people to talk about sexuality and promote the (self-)acceptance of gender and sexual diversity.
