This article aims to analyze the definitions of creativity discussed during the seminar series titled "The Creative Process," held at UNICAMP during the second semester of 1987. The research adopts a qualitative and documentary approach, focusing on the analysis of the reports from the four seminars organized by the Psychological Studies Center and the Office of University Development. These seminars addressed distinct perspectives on creativity, exploring its relationship with education, science, art, and psychology. By examining the seminar reports, the article constructs a historical narrative that encompasses the various conceptualizations of creativity discussed during the series. In this way, the text offers valuable insights into the importance of creativity in diverse fields. The documentary research allows for an in-depth analysis of the theoretical and practical approaches presented in the seminars, providing a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon of creativity. Through the investigation of these definitions and perspectives, the article seeks to contribute to the advancement of knowledge about creativity, highlighting its relevance in academic and professional contexts. Additionally, by tracing a historical line of the conceptualizations debated in the seminar series, the text offers a broad view of the different views and approaches to creativity over time. In summary, this article employs a documentary approach to analyze the reports from the "The Creative Process" seminars held at UNICAMP in 1987. Through this analysis, the text constructs a historical narrative of the definitions of creativity discussed during the series, providing an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the topic and emphasizing its importance in the fields of education, science, art, and psychology.
