We read with great interest the article by Reyes et al.1 on the role of biomarkers in differentiating between people with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and uninjured controls. The authors found that interleukin-6 (IL-6) has the best predictive ability to diagnose mTBI in the acute postinjury period.
