摘要
The calculation of specific parameters the tooth geometry is a necessary part of the load-carrying capacity calculation of spiral gears. Within the framework of the load-carrying capacity calculation based on existing standards, basic assumptions are made with regard to the production and the used gear tool in order to determine the damage-relevant tooth root stress. If the tool geometry deviates from the defined scope of DIN 867 or ISO 53, an appropriate method such as the finite element method can be applied within the framework of ISO 6336 Part 3 Method A. In that case, it can be of de-cisive importance for the accurate calculation of the maximum tooth root stress to know the tooth geometry according to the defined manufacturing process. © 2020, VDI Fachmedien GmBbH & Co..
