摘要
The microstructure and properties of 6063 aluminum alloy with and without cerium were studied by means of microscope, SEM, universal testing machine and conductivity meter. The results showed that the addition of 0.1% Ce can refine the structure of 6063 aluminum alloy, strengthen the second phase, decrease the hardness by 3.8%, increase the bending strength by 74.5%, decrease the electrical resistivity by 12.4%, decrease the corrosion rate by 0.08%, and improve the comprehensive properties. © 2021, Editorial Office of Journal of the Chinese Society of Rare Earths.
