Research purposes: Settlement monitoring of high-speed railway underline engineering, which is an important component in the railway construction and maintenance, has great significance to guarantee the railway safety operation. By merging advanced technology, such as geotechnical engineering, Internet of Things, big data, a set of settlement intelligent monitoring and evaluation system of high-speed railway is developed, which provides scientific decision for the railway maintenance. Research conclusions: (1) Through temperature compensation test for the sensor correction, the precision of the hydrostatic leveling is greatly improved. (2) A set of settlement intelligent monitoring and evaluation system based on wireless network technology is developed, which has technical characteristics as follows: adaptive noise reduction, frequency converting control, data offline cache, big data partition storage, data compression transmission, three-dimensional geographic information display, and so on. (4) The system processes real-time monitoring and evaluation of the high-speed railway settlement in construction period and operational period. © 2019, Editorial Department of Journal of Railway Engineering Society.
