摘要
Modern society places a "social order" on the creative personality of a teacher, who is capable of not only independently setting objectively significant goals and objectives, offering non-standard and effective solutions, but also teaching students how to do this. It is incorrect to discuss the topic of developing a teacher's creative competence outside the context of developing students' creative abilities, taking this issue out of the sphere of interests of all participants in the educational process. As a result, it is impossible to talk about a strict algorithm for the formation of a teacher's creative competence as a sequence of acquisition of professionally important qualities. In this regard, in the context of modern challenges, the presented work examines the problem of developing teacher creativity using the example of a foreign language teacher at a technical university. The basis for the work was the educational and scientific institutes of physical and chemical technologies and materials science, industrial technologies of mechanical engineering and electrical power engineering of Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alexeev (a core federal university). Six teachers of English and German languages and a total of 83 master's students from various areas of training participated in the work. During the study, the authors searched for information on the topic of work from open sources and carried out experimental work, including planning and performing a series of experiments. In this case, theoretical methods were used (critical analysis, comparison and generalization), empirical methods of collecting and accumulating data (observation, survey), control and measurement (scaling), evaluation (expert assessment), data processing (mathematical, statistical, graphical, tabular MS Excel), as well as studying, summarizing teaching experience and implementing research results into practice. It is shown that creativity is a vital component of the spectrum of professionally important qualities of a modern higher school teacher. The fundamental possibility of a teacher achieving the highest level of creative competence (professional creativity) in the conditions of a "live" educational process has been proven. A stable direct connection between the creative competence of a teacher and the effectiveness of student learning has been experimentally established. The creative competence of a foreign language teacher at a technical university is directly related to the success of students' foreign language training and changes dynamically under the influence of a number of external and internal, objective and subjective factors. The authors of this article formulated practical recommendations for the formation and development of the creative competence of a foreign language teacher in the educational space of a technical university.
