Research on the Setting Standard of Platform Door for Main Line of Intercity Railway

Research purposes: There is no setting standard for platform doors in Code for Design of Intercity Railway, and the standards adopted in the design of each project are not uniform.In this paper, the setting standard of the main line platform door of the intercity railway in China is investigated, combined with the simulation calculation and research analysis, the setting standard of the main line platform door of the intercity railway is proposed, which has a reference significance for improving the design standard of the intercity railway and guiding the design of intercity railway. Research conclusions: (1)The distance from the platform door of the main line to the edge of the platform needs to consider the space environment, train passing speed, platform door strength and other factors.(2)The ground station and elevated station should be equipped with half height platform doors, which should be 1.5 m high and ±1.5 kPa strong.The main line platform door should be set 1.2 m away from the platform edge.(3)The underground station should be equipped with full height platform doors, which should be 3.0 m high and ±3.0 kPa strong.When the train passes through the underground station at the speed of 160 km/h or below, the platform door of the main line can be set at 0.1 m of the platform edge; when the train passes through the underground station at the speed of 200 km/h, the platform door of the main line can be set at 0.2 m of the platform edge; when the train passes through the underground station at the speed of 250 km/h, the platform door of the main line can be set at 0.6 m of the platform edge.(4)This paper has a reference significance and guiding role for the design of intercity railway. © 2020, Editorial Department of Journal of Railway Engineering Society.
