摘要
Force-like sensations of fingers are evoked by vibro-tactile stimulation applied onto fingertips. This phenomenon is expected to be used for small and simple force displays, since the users wear only small vibrators on their fingertips. In this study, the properties of magnitude of the force-like sensations by vibration were investigated psychophysically, and the activities of finger muscles were measured by digital force gauge. As a result, it was found that the magnitude of force-like-sensation increases, as vibro-tactile stimulation increases. © 2019 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
