摘要
In recent decades, the rate of fatalities from traffic accidents has risen dramatically. The rise in the number of accidents can be attributed to a variety of factors. Today, vehicle safety is a critical factor. Automobile manufacturers employ new technologies and methods to reduce accidents and their severity using active and passive safety systems. Active safety is used to avoid a collision, whereas passive safety protects the occupants in the event of a collision. A passive system works to reduce damage force and the risk of injury during an accident. When the car collides, this system automatically activates. A new car assessment programme has been established to investigate the vehicle crash process to provide safer transportation. NCAP assigns ratings to vehicles based on how well they perform in these tests. The quantitative study of accidents is restricted to the Indian subcontinent. This research will provide an answer to the question of how we can develop vehicles that meet the highest safety standards. More research is needed in a passive safety system to modify the chassis frame to increase occupant safety. © 2022
