摘要
To study the seismic performance of translation-type precast concrete exterior wall panels, a full-scale single-layer steel frame model is designed for a cyclic testing. The steel frame is composed with five precast concrete wall panels which are connected through fixed connections in bottom and sliding connections in top. The displacement of frame, deformation and strain of the joints and wall panels are recorded during the test. The results show that the translation-type precast concrete exterior wall panel contributes minimally to the stiffness of the primary structure during the initial loading stage. As the loading displacement increases, the deformation of top connections of the precast concrete exterior wall panel reaches its limit and begins to participate in the stress of the primary structure, thereby increasing the overall stiffness of the structure. With a further increase in loading displacement, both the main structure and the exterior wall panel sustain damage, leading to a gradual decrease in stiffness. Throughout the entire testing procedure, the connections of the precast concrete exterior wall panel remain elastic, with the relative displacement of the upper connections being not more than 50 mm. The results demonstrate that the innovative translation-type exterior wall panel node effectively ensures the safety of the panel without the risk of falling off. © 2023 Southeast University.
