摘要
Fluent was used to carry out simulation research on subcooled flow boiling under engine operating conditions. A rectangular channel and CLSVOF(coupled level set volume of fluid)model were adopted in the simulation. A power spectral density function was used to analyze bubble pressure fluctuation and a method of using power spectral density to detect boiling was proposed. The results show that time onset of nucleation boiling increases with lower flow velocity and higher wall heating temperature. From the condition of the lowest wall heating temperature and highest flow velocity to the condition of the highest wall heating temperature and lowest flow velocity, the crests turns from a non-crest shape to a flat shape, then to an oscillating one, finally to a pointed one. Streamwise and spanwise pressure drop analyses were also performed. The results show that the pressure drop in the time domain is linearly related to the streamwise and spanwise size. The spanwise drops of power spectral density has little reduction, but spanwise drops are larger on the heating wall in the frequency domain. © 2019, Editorial Office of the Transaction of CSICE.
