In contemporary power plants, poor air temperature is one of the primary causes of rising unit temperatures and deteriorating boiler performance. The primary issue with an air preheater is air leakage on the gas flue side, which results in poor thermal performance. The high ash content of Indian coal exacerbates the issues with air tube heating. Air preheaters re developed to fulfill operational needs while taking into account the most important factors. Heat transmission, leakage, and pressure reduction are all factors to consider. The performance of the air-conditioning heater is being evaluated in this study using the Fluent 14.0 analytical tool from Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). © 2021 Elsevier Ltd
